Brown packing tape can come in two grades. BPT2 is used in industries. The polyporp plastic that is used in the tape line can withstand considerable level of temperature; it is hard to break the line making a great sealer for international transports. On the other hand, BPT4 brown packing tape is used in most homes. For simple adhesive needs, for storing and moving, BPT4 is used to answer the demand.
Well, as discussed, brown packing tape can stick to the surface of the package so well. However, how to get the tape if it comes contact with plastic PVCs and materials?
Dipping cotton in an alcohol solution can do the magic. You need to wipe the tape section of the plastic material. You need to let the alcohol work through to the adhesive portion of the tape. It will eliminate the adhesive material from the PVC or plastic material. You may now rub the brown packing tape remains away. You can use water to wash away the residues of the tape. If the tape will not be taken away by the alcohol, it is advisable to do the process over again.
