It is long before companies started to progress with the coffee maker business, people has uncertainty to the true stories about coffee and its harmful effects. The authority has yet to answer questions regarding this matter as they are hoping for the issues and queries to subside in due time.
Some of the questions and stories that linger to coffee lovers’ minds are the following: The best javas in the world come from Italy, java causes heart disease, coffee causes ulcers, caffeine is addictive, coffee increases heart disease risks, coffee causes cancer and other caffeine scare stories.
These false stories and common misconceptions have just been cleared. The best coffee did not come from Italy because no coffee is grown in Italy. One of the researchers stated that more comprehensive studies suggest that coffee is not a major risk factor for coronary disease. Coffee causes ulcers, this is yet another false accusation since studies showed ulcers are caused by bacteria, and can be treated by an antibiotic. It is not right to say that coffee causes cancer because two studies made in Norway and Hawaii showed that there is no relationship between cancer and coffee intake. There are other caffeine scare stories like coffee intake risks osteoporosis, children’s health and those of pregnant women, which were contradicted by some studies. These said studies about these stories were inconclusive yet, but overuse or taking more than average caused whatever risks caffeine may have.
Because of this many coffee companies have been very affected leading to low demands in coffee. But on the other hand, other beverages companies aside from coffee companies have been benefited because of continuing increase in sales margin.
Whatever issues and accusations we hear about coffee. It is rightly to research well first before jumping into any conclusion without giving the coffee industry the benefit of the doubt. After all, coffee has been our partner in our day to day life.
