1. Use good images and music

The images that you use for your video marketing project should be clear and sharp. You may use borders that add to the professional appeal and creates uniformity of the pictures. The background music that you choose for the video project should be free from noise. It should be interesting enough to keep the attention of your viewers.

2. Highlight what sets your product apart from the rest

People are enticed to buy your product by listening to your promises. Give them something that is not yet offered by other marketers in the same niche. Study your product and your market well so that you know what your target market currently needs. Let them know that you understand their needs and assure them that your product can solve their problems. Of course, you need to be sure that you can deliver what you promise.

3. Choose clean and clear text fonts

Video marketing is not entirely about using videos and sound. At times, you will need to use text and images to improve your connection with the viewers. When you use text for your video, make sure that the fonts are clear and readable for the majority of your audience. Do not use long sentences and phrases because these will just bore your viewers.

4. Revise the script, if necessary

Before you turn on the video camera, you should be prepared on what you needed to say. Rehearse the script. It may also help if the video camera is turned on so that you can watch yourself after your rehearsal. Refine your script so that it will make more impact on your audience. Learn some techniques on how to grasp their attention within the first 10 seconds of your video.

5. Your video should neither be too large nor too small

The video should have a reasonable size that it can be displayed well on various monitors, browsers and software. Ideally, the video size should not be larger than 800x600. The number of minutes that the video runs should also not be too long. Try to limit your video to five to eight minutes. If your video presentation reaches longer than ten minutes, you will need to edit your script or your video.
