Comparing all age level, teens have the highest involvement in various minor and major accidents. Teens are involved in crashes and collisions higher than other age group level, according to the statistic of the DMV. In fact, some accidents involve teens who don’t have learner’s permit or haven’t been in the driving school for training.
The immature mind of the teen driver, coupled with the lack of experience, can be the main reason of the high number of teen accidents. They don’t have the training that keeps them updated with the right behavior off the road. In the same manner, they don’t have a good practical behind-the-wheel experience that can give them overview of the road safety.

It maybe an impossible feat and objective, but professional driving school instructors are still keeping up with the demand of avoiding high-speed collisions. Teens should learn how to drive at a minimum speed than to keep a road rage.
Road rage is a problem that is happening in the mind and behavior of drivers. In fact, when a teen driver has a passenger, road rages and accidents happen. This is due to the peer pressure and the immaturity of teens to handle motivations of their passengers to run faster. With the help of the driving school lesson, one can realize the importance of using the mind than the emotions that may flash you.
Teen drivers also share a percentage on alcohol-related accidents. A 16 year old driver, after attending the driving school, is not allowed to drink and drive, at all restrictions and level of BAC. Most teens involved in accidents have higher BAC content, which may distract and impair their judgment of the road.
The driving school discusses restrictions that must be followed by a teen driver including the curfew. Curfew is necessary to keep drivers away from the road in the middle of the night, where they are more prone to high-speed collisions, or alcohol-related accidents. The learner’s permit maintains the need of the new drivers to stay away from the road after ten o’clock in the evening.
Lastly, the problem with teen drivers can be attributed to complacency. Adults are more likely to wear seat belts compared with teen drivers. This act of complacency and total disregard to knowledge learned from a driving school may result to accidents – both minor and major ones.
