Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370: Conspiracy Theory on Its Mysterious Disappearance

Share:
After the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, several conspiracy theories have been promoted by those who want to put meaning on the event. These theories cover the rational and even the bizarre explanation of the mysterious plight which first lost its radar contact. At first, links to terrorism were considered by authorities, but were later dismissed when the stolen passport was found held by a 19-year old Iranian asylum seeker without the terrorist ties. With the ruling out of terrorism, authorities are baffled with the reason behind the flight's disappearance.

Here are some of the theories that are being promoted by those who love to weave things up:

1. North Korea hijacked the plane. Back in 1969, Kim Jong Il hijacked a jet and flew it to Pyongyang. The tricked could have been used by his son, Kim Jong Un. Based on the fuel capacity of the plane, it could have enough fuel to fly to the capital of North Korea.

If taken into account, why North Korea hijacked Malaysia Airline plane? Is Kim Jong Un foolish enough to create tension with neighbors that could have supported it, in some ways? With the recent concession of Jong Un, such as the open border for Korean families to be reunited, hijacking a plane would devastate its plan to maintain strong connections with outside powers to bolster its economy and military.

2. It is destiny, don't panic. If you love numerology, others used it to explain the mysterious plane. Malaysia Airlines flies 37, 000 passengers daily; the flight is tagged as MH370; it travelled at 3700 km before disappearing in 3/7; the missing passport belongs to a 37 years old man. Further explanation draws us back to Fukushima which is already 37 months ago; located on the 37th degree, and had an injury of 37 individuals. You see the pattern? It's 37's fault.

While I love numerology and I believe in the power of God, I don't take the 37 pattern as much as I don't believe in the 13th's curse.

3. Ghosts or Kidnapped. For those who claim that phones are still ringing with mysterious sounds or ringtones, the ghost explanation is a big thing. While for those who don't believe, kidnapping all passengers seems relevant.

I don’t believe in ghosts, so I am ruling that out. Being kidnapped? By who? If this happens in Somalia, the theory could hold up, but in Southeast Asia, I doubt. Perhaps, the theory on Kim Jong Un’s involvement may find some ground, but not that much.

4. The Illuminati theory. This is the most bizarre, I believe. This theory holds that there are those who control the energy grid of the world, perhaps, ancient aliens, who took the plane out of the atmosphere. Perhaps, occults are working hard to put the plane out of the earth.

This conspiracy theory seems to be very disturbing. The absence of distress signal from the plane's pilot helped this theory to form ground.

However, if we look closer, perhaps, the plane exploded in thin air and just disintegrated at a high altitude. This is why we don't have traces of the plane's remains.
