This is Angelo Mercede, the admin of this Bible Baptist Church – San Remigio, Cebu, Philippines (https://www.facebook.com/bible.church.9) page which you liked. I serve as the Administrator of our Child Care Center as well. I hope this message finds you in good mood.
Our Church, Bible Baptist Church, has our Child Care Center or a Day Care Center. This serves the community and we are making it of our ministry. Through this, we are able to reach out to families or parents or even to neighbours of our kids.
This is the second year of our Child Care Center. Since we started it, I had been paying for our teachers and paying our utilities as well. I have a business which the Lord allowed me to have so that I would be able to help the ministry and meet the needs of our Child Care Center.
Things were working smoothly and we even planned to open a Kindergarten next school year. We added additional covered area for our students this July. We just finished our United Nations last Sunday, October 13, 2019 and our kids are on a semestral break.
However, bad things happened. This got me depressed. I am suffering from tremendous depression right now as my business had fallen bad and creditors are running after me (Php 500,000 or roughly $9,800 is just too hard to meet these days.) And I am very worried of the future of our Child Care Center. As much as I desire to be of help, I just can’t. I am feeling so down these past days. But I don’t want our Child Care Center to suffer the same fate as my business. We can’t close down a ministry that has seen souls getting saved and children being taught the Word of God.
As I struggle to get back on my feet (please pray for me, I need it much), I am praying for some help to keep our Child Care Center open by November after the semestral break. We only need Php 18,000 for our teachers Php 6,000 for our utilities (around $470) every month.
I would never do this fundraising for myself. But I am too depressed right now. I don’t know why God allowed this to happen to me when I am helping His Ministry and even sending missions to Filipino missionaries abroad. I just can’t imagine what will happen to our Child Care Center.
