A good driving instructor can mean the result of road safety. With the aid of proper instruction and training, a person can stay alive when he is already in the road. The problem with most drivers is not enough knowledge and training to handle the car. A driving instructor can greatly help in determining the safety of the person when off the road.
Driving Position
First, you need to understand your position inside the car. Can you move freely to control the steering wheel? Do you have enough space to control the clutch? Can you feet step on the pedal without any problem? Knowing the right position inside the car can mean safety.
Second, you need to understand the position of the car in the lane. Driving instructor can help you to understand what position of the lane you should stay. By placing yourself in the right position of the lane, you can avoid crashes and collisions. For instance, when you are going to make a turn in an intersection, you should position yourself in the rightmost area of the lane.
In the same manner, you need to understand that the right position when you are off the road means life. In making an overtake or overpass, you need to position your car in the right area of the lane. Do not incline to the right or the left. It is important to stay in the center of the lane.

Clearance
Another factor to collisions and crashes is the clearance of the car from the other. When you are driving in a bad and heavy traffic, you are tempted to drive closer the car in front of you. In fact, you would naturally tailgate the car in front.
But don’t you know that accidents, crashes and collisions happen mostly when cars are close to other? Let’s make a good example. For instance, a car is moving in a speed of 100kph and you are following it in 2 meter distances. And all of sudden, the car in front of you brakes and stops. Because you are heading at a speed of 100kph also, it takes you time to tense the brake and apply traction. You already bumped at the other car.
These scenarios are very usual in the road. The other driver would reason that no communication or signal is made. You need to understand that in the viewpoint of a driving instructor, you need to stay defensive because other drivers are reckless.
In staying away from other cars, and maintaining the 3-second rule, you can keep a good clearance from other cars. In an accident, you will never become a victim. And you will not become an agent of accident.
